Inherited Arrhythmia & Aortopathy & Genomics : changes to the genomic testing pathway

From 1st April, Clinical Genetics will no longer be accepting referrals for diagnostic genomic testing for inherited cardiac conditions.

This means that cardiac teams will be expected to arrange genomic testing for patients.

We have a series of education sessions designed to help colleagues working in cardiology in the South East of England (South London, Medway, Kent, Sussex & Surrey) including Doctors, nurses, AHPs and administrative staff to learn more about genomics and how to arrange accurate and timely genetic testing for patients.

This is the one of three sessions.

Other sessions will offer an introduction to genomics and a focus on cardiomyopathies.

These sessions are free and open to any NHS colleagues from the South East who wish to learn more about genomics.
