Getting to grips with genomics for primary care
We have teamed up with Surrey and Sussex Cancer Alliance to organise two online sessions to support primary care colleagues from across the South East to understand more about genomic medicine and how it can benefit both you, and your patients.
In this first session, on 16 October, GP our GP and genomic expert, Debbie Hipps will provide an introduction to genomics, including how and when to refer patients.
Part Two will take place on 6 November and will focus on Lynch Syndrome, an inherited condition which increases someone’s chances of developing cancer by 80% during their lifetime.
